T20 Cricket: Odisha U-23 eves post hat-trick of wins

Odisha defeated hosts Saurashtra by 49 runs to register a hat-trick of wins in Group-E of the BCCI Women U-23 T20 League at SCA Stadium Khanderi B Ground in Rajkot today. Captain Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan starred in the win, hitting an unbeaten 42 and picking up two wickets for 17 runs.

Opting to bat, Odisha 123 for two in the stipulated 20 overs and then restricted Saurashtra to 74 for eight. Indrani Chhatria was most successful Odisha bowler, bagging three wickets for seven run. Odisha openers Kajal Jena and Anjali Singh also shone with the bat, contributing 32 and 39 runs respectively. Odisha will next meet Vidarbha on January 19.
